Hi! I don't see thread for this section of the program so I figured I would start one to see if anyone here has applied to U of R's ABPNN for September 2021. Has anyone heard back about an interview or have already completed one?

Hi! I am so glad I found this thread. I also got an email about an interview on Wednesday and I scheduled my interview for this upcoming Tuesday. I am super nervous!!
Does anyone know when we should be hearing back from them for acceptances?

I think my interview went pretty well, but its always hard to tell how they interpret your answers LOL How about you?

I think mine went well too but yeah same LOL. She said it was going to be 15 mins and it ended up being 30 mins so IDK if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I was prepared for the basic questions and did great answering them, but the questions I wasn’t prepared for threw me off guard. I did my best to properly articulate my answers but it’s hard LOL I made her laugh a couple of times so that’s good. I am praying I get into the program or at least wait listed ?

Yea there were definitely a couple of questions I had trouble articulating answers for well. My interview lasted 40 minutes I think which was much longer than I thought it would take. This is definitely my top choice program so I'm hoping to get in but I know there are a lot of applicants this year to all nursing programs so I'm stressed ?

OMG 40 mins ? I think that’s good it means you’re interesting enough. This is my top program too ? I am terrified but I am trying to stay positive. I actually asked her if they were seeing more applicants this semester or less applicants bc of the pandemic and all and she said less so that’s good!

I had my interview on March 29th and it went better than I expected. University of Rochester it’s my top choice and I’m praying I get in too. Good luck to everyone!!

Hey all! I also got invited for an interview and completed my interview on March 11th! Mine lasted about 30-35 minutes I would say! I am anxiously awaiting decisions to come soon. I have applied to 8 ABSN programs and have been rejected by 6 and waitlisted by one this cycle. An acceptance to U of R would be great! Good luck to everyone!
