University of Rochester ABPNN Fall 2021 (Sept)

Hi! I don't see thread for this section of the program so I figured I would start one to see if anyone here has applied to U of R's ABPNN for September 2021. Has anyone heard back about an interview or have already completed one? 

Congrats to everyone accepted! Looking forward to starting as well. I also got that I needed to finish AP1 even though I already did. I had emailed Julian Ferris and he confirmed that it showed completed. 

Does anyone know exactly what is happening with classes starting in the fall? Will it still be a majority online or will it be moving more towards a majority in person. Currently I believe students have to be on campus 3 days a week for specific courses that have to be but wondered how long that will be the case.

I am coming from the east coast so starting to look at living options. Anyone have recommendations or places to start looking. I will be making the drive over august 1 and will try and find something decent before classes start.

I received my acceptance letter 23APR. Still haven't committed since I am waiting for responses from schools in Southern California (Super impacted schools!). I just got on the waitlist for MSMU in CA so it is not looking good. The idea of moving terrifies me, but I am excited that I got into at least one school. Anyone from southern California? Has anyone looked into housing options?

Hey everybody!

I got waitlisted on 4/23 and wanted to ask if any of you guys know anything about the process. I emailed SON admissions some questions but haven't heard back. Did any of you happen to ask about how it works during interviews? How late they'll be sending out decisions, how many seats they estimate to offer/if we're in any order on the list etc. I might be over worrying but I'm just curious tbh

Hey Asia - I'm coming from Portland Or, so doing the drive from west cost to east coast end of July!

Hey - I am moving from Portland Or so going to make the drive at the end of July. I have some family friends who live over there and gave me suggestions on areas to look at for housing. Downtown is on the more expensive side but one place I found is 15 min from campus.... I will find something once I get over there.  I'm coming with my dog so hoping to find a house but that might be too much to ask...

For the waitlisted:

Did anybody else get the offer to remove themselves from the waitlist and enroll in the Spring-Jan 2022 cohort? I got the update on 7/6 so I'll be in that section! Definitely better than a solid no so I went ahead and accepted it. ?

Congratulations! I actually did too. I agree with you,  it was WAY better than a solid no.

If you had your mind set on your, you can call admission to reuse your application for the next cycle. You probably won’t need another interview too ? 

When you reapplied did they contact you and let you know you didn't need to interview again? Or did you just not hear back until they sent out acceptances/ rejections?
