Members are discussing starting their program in 2025 or 2026, housing options, course schedules, tuition costs, dress codes, and Facebook groups for their cohort. Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.
Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

That's a great question. Im in the same boat, with three kids trying to figure out tentative timelines is hard. Curious as to how many were pulled into the same cohort.

Got call for part-time today! Accepted
He didn't provide where I was in the line, though I think the best way to track is we keep the thread active to see when ppl get pulled to full time
I will say I assume I'm later on the list as he's been calling part-time for a week now? We'll see when they stop calling peeps

Hey I haven't seen one yet, if you start one let us know, I'll definitely join !
Is anyone traveling from out of state know when we should apply for the Pennsylvania license? Is it the year of the clinical practice?

Thank you for doing that! Can't wait to meet yall in January! And wishing all you part timers the best that we will meet you in January as well! 🥰 I'm coming from the south... any recommendations on places to live in Pittsburgh?

Of course!
There are so many good neighborhoods! Pitt's campus & two of our biggest clinical sites, UPMC Presbyterian & UPMC Magee Women's, are all in Oakland. Adjacent to Oakland is Shadyside, Bloomfield, Squirrel Hill, Strip District... these are all in the city & super walkable/safe with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Lawrenceville is also really close & super fun, kinda the Brooklyn of Pittsburgh RN haha. Point Breeze is also really nice & closer to the city limits so a little quieter but still close drive to Oakland.
If you're looking for more yard & cheaper, there's also a ton of nice areas just outside the city!

He said usually about 70-80% of people get pulled off the list. Usually sometime between late August-October is when people will be notified if they have a full time position available.
