Some users were initially rejected but later accepted due to an increase in student intake. There is also confusion about the Facebook group for the class of 2027 and questions about enrollment procedures.

Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

Specializes in ICU.

Info session didn't say much about this current admission cycle. Basically talked about admission requirements for the next cycle and current SRNAs talking about their experiences.

Interesting through that next year they're going to only have one deadline instead of two though

Still no word 😭 geeeez I just wanna know even if it's a no.

Oh shoot really...but they don't have any more acceptances to give out?

Specializes in CVICU, MICU.

I think realistically they would first have to fill up the full time slots. Meaning those accepted would have to accept the offer and pay the deposit. Then they would fill part time slots and those offered a position would have to accept & possibly pay a deposit. Then Rejections would come out.  Let's remain optimistic and hopeful.

Had anyone who has been accepted initially or recently received an official acceptance letter and paid a deposit ?

Has anyone recieved a partime offer?

Specializes in CCRN-CMC, SCRN.

Yes I received the official letter and paid the deposit for full time about a week ago

Were you given a deadline at all for when you would need to formally accept by?

I got an acceptance call! Thought for sure they were done, but very pleased. Good luck to everybody still waiting.

Were you given a deadline by when you'd have to formally accept and pay your deposit? I am trying to gauge if they are waiting to fill up all the full time spots with people that paid their deposit before finishing offering those spots.

I'm pretty sure someone in this thread said they were given 10 days to pay the deposit once they got the official email/offer

As per the admissions team, "Accept/Decline Offer via PeopleSoft/Highpoint CX on or before July 30, 2024"

I was just called by Dr. Goode and offered a part time spot which I turned down because I have been accepted elsewhere! He was very apologetic for how long this process has taken. It's not over, good luck y'all!!

so wait does that mean they have to have all offers out before 7/20 to give people the full 10 days? I feel like it would not be fair to give someone who was accepted 7/25 five days to pay a deposit when 90% of the class had 10...
