Hello, is anyone applying to University of Pittsburgh's CRNA program for Spring 2025?

ahhh!! I missed a call from a 724 number on Monday and they haven't called me back. I live in WA state so it's rare to get PA spam calls. I hope it wasn't spam and they call me for an interview!!

For those who were accepted, could you please share your stats? This includes your cumulative GPA, science GPA, BSN GPA, any graduate classes you have taken, and any certifications or extracurricular activities that might have helped you stand out.

Hi! I don't mind - not sure if anything necessarily stands out or how much insight this will provide. Given they use a point system, I speculate some things are weighted more heavily than others.

I graduated from a direct-entry MSN program which included advanced patho, advanced pharm, and bio stats. I graduated with a 4.0 cum and 4.0 science.

*2 years on a high-volume CTICU taking ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, impella, CRRT, and IABP

*CCRN and CNL (Clinical Nurse Leader) certifications

*HAI champion, preceptor and research committee member - coauthor of an AJCC publication and NTI poster; no charge experience

*Volunteer youth sports coach and part-time fitness instructor

I think I saw in one of your previous posts that you had an interview, so remember that you are totally qualified to be a CRNA!  What I've gathered from the application process is that it's kinda like dating LOL. The perfect fit for you is where you're going to get an offer. I'm sure you're tired of hearing it but just be patient and it will work out! Getting an interview is an indication of how strong a candidate you are. Good luck!

Did anyone miss the call from the 724 number and receive this text message?

"This is the automated account manager from: University of Pittsburgh scheduling system. This system is unable to receive calls. Return calls at
(412) 624-4586
during business hours between 9 AM and 5 PM (ET) to speak to one of our representatives regarding your appointment. Thank you.”

I called the number listed in the text, and it's just the main line for the school of nursing and haven't gotten a call back yet. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but this seems very promising that it's for an interview invite? Ahhh the anxiety in waiting LOL

I'm one of the people who had to decline my May interview - got a missed call today while I was on my flight and called them back the moment I landed and saw the missed call (hopefully they return my call tomorrow morning) but I'm assuming it's for an interview invite for June 28!

Did you ever hear back from them? I am having the hardest time getting ahold of anyone after missing the call!

Did you end up getting in contact with someone?

I haven't been able to contact them. I've tried calling the 724 number back, but there's no voicemail, and I haven't had any luck.

People who received a call and missed the call, email Dr. Goode he's the one that calls.

I'm a little scared to do that... did you miss a call from a 724 number and email him?

No, but you literally have nothing to lose . Tomorrow are the last interviews for the program. State your name and that you missed a called from this number 724 ...

So true. I'll email them. Thanks for the encouragement!

I've done 4 interviews, I emailed schools to update my resume after submitting it. I've contacted schools about interviews , I've done it all. This is your chance to financial freedom and actually enjoy joy your job. I need this more then anything in the world. And I will do whatever I have to get to that.

I had a hard time getting in touch with them too. They ended up calling me back on Monday to set up my interview!
