I am wanting your advice about getting my BSN from UOP. I can't find a FT job anywhere and I figured since I have all this time on my hands I should go back to school. I like that fact that it is online since I do have a seasonal job. The cost will be paid for since I have military background. So money is not a problem.
I keep seeing negative things about UOP, but there has to be some good experiences with them. I would LOVE the hear from people that got their BSN from UOP and anyone else that has went there!
I would definitely consider a few different online programs before jumping right to UOP. I'm currently in Drexel's program, and am heading into my second quarter. Overall, I'm quite happy I chose this program.
The cost kinda evens out for both programs. Drexel is $483/credit, and cheaper if you work for one of the partnership companies. UOP is $450/credit, but they also charge you an additional $85 per course.
There is one course that requires 60 hours of clinical, but I think it's more community health based than anything.

It's SUPER expensive, as I'm sure others have already mentioned. ETA: I didn't read closely, I see cost is not an issue for you.
Check out Ft. Hays State University. They have a 100% online RN-BSN program, and it's one of the most inexpensive programs available. My husband is taking it right now.
I'm currently attending UoP RN to BSN program and I am 5 classes from graduation. It is a hard program, not easy like people think, and I have learned alot. There are clinicals for 4 classes. This program is not a diploma mill for this program, its hard work.

well if you already have an rn job. then getting the degree is a good move weather it's online or not. but if it's your first nursing school attempt and you don't have hospital experience and you're thinking about jobs after graduation, then traditional college might be a better option. most hr's are FLOODED with new grad applicants and since online nursing school isn't viewed as well as traditional school, you might encounter difficulties. the educational culture is shifting and becoming more accepting of online degrees, but it's just not quite there yet for every manager. think about it--managers have to pick the "top" people and if you are a 50+ year old who barely knows how to use email (but is a great nurse and manager), then you might not see online education as a valuable substitute.
