Anybody who got accepted in the UOPX MSN-FNP program for this 2019 March or June cohort. I'll be nice to get to know each other and we can network and help each other out for the course.

thanks and merry Christmas to all !!!

This is a diploma mill. Google articles about UoP and read about the multiple criticisms, controversies and lawsuits surrounding this "school". Find a hybrid program, rather than a 100% online program. There are plenty of health care systems that will not hire from these 100% online, for-profit propriety programs. Especially this one - it has wide-spread, horrible reputation.

Chamberlain, Maryville are online and all of my friends who’ve attended there have had no probs getting jobs. I thank you for the info but a little less dictatorial might make more of an impression.

The supply of NPs is expected to grow by 53,210 FTEs – from 57,330 FTEs in 2013 to 110,540 FTEs in 2025 – a 93 percent increase.

The national demand for NPs is projected to grow by 10,710 FTEs – from 57,330 FTEs in 2013 to 68,040 FTEs in 2025 – a 19 percent increase.

If you think where you went to school won't matter in a few years, then you are being incredibly naive. Many institutions are already aware of the caliber of these programs and refuse to hire from them. This concept will only spread as more and more NPs flood the market. Especially as more and more hiring managers and physicians become aware of the nature of NP preparation. NPs from these programs are profiting off of the ignorance of those hiring them. This will change.

Again, the way in which you are speaking within this thread is impudent and we can agree to disagree.

Hi,

Im interested in university of Phoenix FNP program mainly because it’s online, competition tuition, and the curriculum is straight to the point with no extra fluff classes that aren’t needed.

Can you guys share some insight on the online environment, clinicals, program overall? Or anyone who finished the program.

There’s mixed reviews on the university but that’s with any school. I’m a big believer of what you put into it is what you get especially being grad school ( your basically teaching yourself).

Thanks ?

Why is it only NPs say this. In every other graduate professional program, the applicants/students/professors/certifying bodies, etc, expect the schools to explicitly teach. But nurses are ok with less than nothing.
