  1. Again, the way in which you are speaking within this thread is impudent and we can agree to disagree.
  2. Chamberlain, Maryville are online and all of my friends who’ve attended there have had no probs getting jobs. I thank you for the info but a little less dictatorial might make more of an impression.
  3. I’m sure as long as you pass boards no one will care where you went. I’ve never had an employer ask me in my nursing career where I went to school. As for diploma mill, again, I think it comes down to effort. You can pretty much expect no matter where you go online, to not expect profs to really teach but rather guide.
  4. Me too but as this would be my third grad school and have friends at many different schools, I hear mixed reviews about everywhere. I truly think it’s what you make of it.
  5. I’m admitted too for Sept. I’m waiting to see what they’ll waive for my MSN classes at Chamberlain and Walden. I might go back to Chamberlain if they don’t waive everything that I submitted for. I’m currently at Keller working on my MBA in the meantime lol.
  6. It’s ok. It’s expected on here ?
  7. Did you start the program yet?
  8. Yeah nursing history is set up the same. Credit hours dictate workload. So really OP can't go wrong with either.
  9. I'd do nursing history but I'm biased. I took it and loved it. There's a paper but it's just interviewing another nurse who you find influential in nursing. It was a really interesting class.
  10. I always try to give 4 weeks notice or more but here in IL, it's an at-will state. Meaning two wks is preferable but really I don't have to give notice to my employer and neither does my employer to me. Now granted it can and does effect rehire-ability if you don't give two weeks. But honestly...would you go back to work for this manager or company. I sure wouldn't. To use this place as a reference might cause you some problem in the future but I'd just use someone else as references if you have that option. Just my opinion :-)

We don't titrate at my facility. Set rate of 0.03 units. I forgot to stipulate "in my facility." And like I said, "in my experience" :-)

We discard after 24hrs and we only use 100mL bags. Since there's no titration with vasopressin (and in my experience, the patient usually expires before 24hrs if they're on it), we never end up using the whole amount and discarding anyway.
