Hey everyone, I noticed there wasn't a thread for the Spring 2025 cohort yet
I also wanted to know if anyone had heard from the program yet? I submitted my app the third week of June and haven't heard anything. I feel like I usually get a "thank you for submitting" email by now
Kishorie Weingart said:Does anyone know how to find out what number they are on the waitlist, if waitlisted? I reached out via email both to the nursing department and the graduate department and got a generic answer.
I am not sure how we find this out. I wonder if they don't do the numbers because the waitlist really is a mile long?
I called them and asked how long is the waitlist and she was like we aren't allowed to answer that and I was like OK then how are you guys going about picking the next person on the waitlist If someone declines are you guys still taking priority people into consideration and she said no we are actually getting rid of priority bc it's too confusing for student we will pick the next person going about how their interview went and overall

When I received my interview invite in September and went throught with it, I already had a feeling that the school was not doing it based on priority. My application was submitted on the day before the deadline, not even before priority deadline. I think the school sent out admission offers based on how well students did with the interview. A lot of schools are doing waitlist nowadays so don't lose hope. I just don't like how some graduate schools make students wait a long time for decisions or waitlists.
