Published

Hi Everyone,

I realized there is no post for university of the pacific new nursing program. I had an interview with them last week. If you had an interview or applied please reply.

Specializes in RETIRED Cath Lab/Cardiology/Radiology.

Just a reminder:

There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.

One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.

Two: create a "club" for your cohort by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on “Create A New Club” in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.

References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.

Thank you.

I have an interview tomorrow and I am so nervous. Do you guys have any tips for the interview? I am wondering what my chances are of getting accepted if they have already sent acceptance letters.

You got it! My best advice would be to think of examples (work, social, volunteer work, family related) scenarios that have happened to you that you could use to answer their questions and your reason why you want an ELMSN and all that jazz. If this makes you feel better, I might be giving up my spot  because I was accepted into a different program that would suit me the best. You guys should definitely start a group though and figure out the housing situation and more info regarding uop!! Good luck on your interview :D

When did you interview?

I interviewed yesterday. I was surprised when I received the email today.

I was nervous for the interview too and didn't know what to expect. But it was just roughly 2 questions per interviewer and they were all very nice.

Thank you! Interview went well, fingers crossed I get in. Good luck and congrats on the other program. What program are you going to, if you don't mind me asking ?

Hello Everyone!

I created a facebook group where incoming UoP EL-MSNs can connect. Feel free to join.

I got accepted to this school as well. Although I know this is a really good school, I'm really scared about the accreditation. Am I the only one?

I know same! Uop was the first school to accept me, so I was very grateful for that. And I've decided to attend samuel merritt's elmsn program for case management. Best of luck to you and your nursing journey ❤️

That's awesome! I hope you get in ? and I will be attending samuel merritt's elmsn-case management program

@Lk1956 That's awesome!! I was going to apply to Samuel Merrit but when I was accepted to UOP I didn't. Why'd you choose Samuel Meritt over UOP?

@Hsalem Hi I was wondering when they told you of your acceptance? I interviewed on 3/1 and I haven't heard anything yet ?

@Jazpanda

I interviewed 3/1 and heard back exactly a week later!
