Hi Everyone,
I realized there is no post for university of the pacific new nursing program. I had an interview with them last week. If you had an interview or applied please reply.

I'm more interested in getting that case management certificate vs. The public health certificate that uop offers. And I think I vibed better with SMU during my interview LOL

I did too and haven’t heard yet. It isn’t uncommon for a program to send out decisions in batches. Even with knowing this, it’s still been making me anxious

Yeah I emailed them last week and this is what I was told:
"Admission letters will start being sent out via email on the 15th until the 31st.
If you don’t receive an admission notification by the 31st, please let me know."
This is a little confusing to me since people got accepted before the 15th but I guess all we can do is wait. ?

It's just cutting it kinda close now. :/ There is a lot to figure out very quickly (job, living situation, orientation, etc) if we don't hear by March 31st and actual classes start April 25th. I ended up also reaching out to graduate admissions, and they mentioned that "the program has extended its application review time and candidates will be reached out in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, this is the most up to date information we have at this time."

I hope you're all doing well!
Does anyone know if there was a facebook page created for accepted students? I can't seem to find it.
Also, good luck to everyone who are still waiting for the program's decision! *fingers crossed*
Yes! It's a group named under: University of the Pacific's EL-MSN 2022-2024

You are not the only one. I am scared too. I got accepted out of state. I am not sure what to do. I think we have to attend the open house and ask the director about their plan for CCNE accreditation. It is important to know if they applied? when is the site visit? did the CCNE accepted them as a new applicant? if the answer to these 3 questions are clear then we will be fine. because accreditation is retroactive to the date of first visit by CCNE. Lets ask. We can not spend 100 thousands of dollars
Congrats, I am so happy for you.
