University of Oklahoma-Accelerated BSN Program

Hi All,

I'm new to this site and to the field of nursing. Has anyone gone to this school and if so, what did you think?

I live in San Diego, CA, and there is an online program that this school offers. I'm 3 prerequisites away from applying to the school, with a start date of August 08. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yay!!! Thanks! Hopefully sooner than later. I am waiting for OU to send my transcripts to the BRN and then the BRN will send me my ATT which will allow me to schedule. We were told probably 5-6 weeks but since we graduated at an unpopular time we hope to get our ATTs sooner.

When do you start?

Is there anyone following this thread who was an "invited" alternate to the open house in San Diego and got accepted? If so, when and how did they notify you? Or, does anyone know when they will start taking allternates and how many? Thanks!

I graduated yesterday (!!!) and I have no regrets. :)

As for us, psych down, A&C left... can't wait to be done. :)

Congrats to those that just graduated and thank you all for your responses to my questions about the program. I have just a couple more....

I have been reading that it is hard for new grads to find jobs....has anyone had good or bad experience with this?

Also, I am curious to know what happened with all the alternates...were you invited to the program or are you reapplying?

You are so close!!! Yes, the graduation went very well and amazingly with 76 grads, it was over in 70 minutes...not bad!
