Hi guys,

anyone from UWYO online? I am currently taking pathophysiology and pharmacology right now and its really exciting, challenging yet time-consuming. I'ts hard to keep up with the readings. I just think positive all the time. I am finally done with my traditional AAS in 2 weeks and get ready for nclex... Arghh!!!! Nclex plus these 2 courses.....:(

how's everyone been doing lately?

Hi there!

I am also in uwyo online! Good to meet another student. I am also in pharmacology this term. I took pathophysiology this past spring. Keep those positive thoughts going and good luck on the NCLEX. Do you have a job lined up yet?

I am currently working as a tech in a hospital near me. I am going to tell the nurse recruiter right after i passed. I dont wnt to start as a GN with a lot of things going on right now. I plan to take nclex July 22 and hopefully, i will start work in AUgust.

How are you coping with the readings for patho? I am behind with the videos for pharm and i dont think i will be able to finish them by friday (1st test!). ANyway, i appreciate your advice coz its my first time to take online class.

Thanks again

I am also behind with the videos. The lectures are so tedious to listen to :zzzzz The concepts don't seem all that hard. I guess this first exam will set the tone. I am hoping he will not pull miniscule little facts out and test on those.

I'm already done with patho - THANK HEAVENS!!! There was so much reading! I almost can't believe they're doing that class as a summer class. It was involved enough in a long semester. (Of course I was taking 2 nursing courses along with it - what was I thinking?!) I'm assuming Dr. M. is teaching again. His lecture notes are a good study guide for the exams.

I have taken all sorts of classes online at various schools. I love it! It is so much better for me than trying to attend classes on someone else's schedule. Especially if I've worked the night before and am only half awake while the classes are going on. I remember taking an organic chemistry class one summer at the local university. We had lecture MWF from 930-1130 and a four hour lab on Friday afternoons. On fridays I would get off at 7a, go home to change, go to lecture, have lunch on campus with a classmate in an attempt to stay awake, go to lab, come home, shower and change, and then work another 12-hour night shift. I must have been CRAZY!! :uhoh3:

I love uwyo's classes because if I'm awake at 3 am, I can do my coursework at 3 am. Very flexible and no traffic (yay!) Already dreading the practicum though - ick! I wish there was some way around that.

hi there....

i wasnt able to take the test yesterday coz the tst materials didnt reach the proctor.

If you took it, how was it? is it hard?

i am taking it on monday....gives me jitters.

thanks again

I took this class last Summer. I have to say that I thought the tests were horrible.

Hey, did you take the exam yet? I had to take mine today too. My proctor's office was closed last week. It wasn't too bad, I guess. I don't think it focused on what he said it would focus on, though, did you? Very frustrating. My other two classes started today. I am going to be sooo swamped until the end of the summer term. YIKES! Good luck.

Hi lyv33. what did you mean by tests being horrible?

RN4NICU, hi there, i went to school today to take the test only to find out that my proctor left because of the emergency meeting and the class intercession is on from tomorrow to next tuesday. bummer! How was yours?

thanks a lot you guys!

To me the tests were very hard. I did not have a "Pharmacology" class in the ADN program that I went through, so to me the exams were difficult.
