Hello! I applied back in 2020 to the full time FNP program at UNG and got accepted. Due to work/life at the time I decided not to pursue the acceptance. I have finally decided to look into going back to FNP school and have questions about the full and part-time program.
If you are a current or former student for either the full or part-time program could you please share your experience? I have had a hard time finding anything new for this program specifically.
I am just wondering about the work/life balance with each program, if you felt that the program structure was good (support, staff availability for questions, etc.), and more specifically about the "Tuesday" or "Thursday" meeting day. Is this in person or online? How many times a semester do you meet?
Thank you for any and all replies 🙂
Thinking about applying soon. I am attending the online information session this month. How many years of RN experience do yall have? I'll have 4 when the program starts. Wondering if that is good enough? Also, how many students to they accept into the program? Thanks so much in advance!

Hey! I have been a nurse for 10 years. I think they only require one or two years 🤗. I am not exactly sure how many they accept! I did not ask that during my interview and I couldn't find that information online, at least not a set number! But in the FAQ I was sent before my interview that question was on there and it says that they do not have a set number they admit, but have rolling acceptance that starts the Fall before the Summer semester starts!

Hi! Once I start I will be approaching 8 years. I think 4 will be just fine 🙂
I am also not sure how many are accepted. But wishing you all the best and hoping to see you in the Summer.

But also wishing you the best and if you apply let us know 🤗 maybe we can all connect! Would you apply part time or full time?

I spoke with someone this AM too about the on campus requirements. And she said for the whole program we would be up there just 12 times.
The website says weekly so I wanted to confirm.

Do they ask for references or letters of recommendation? I have looked through the requirements but have not seen anything on that. I have some references but don't want to ask them if I don't need to.
No they don't. Just like a 300-500 word goal letter or something along those lines. No references. It seems like every other school in Georgia does ask for references and some other stuff too so this one was pretty straightforward.

Yes, no references required. I think just the resume and the "FNP Statement Letter"! Which basically was what Mallory said! 🤗
