University of North Florida Regular BSN Fall 2015

Hi! I am applying for Fall 2015 at UNF. I just took the TEAS this morning and added up my score to 352.6. My prerequisite GPA is 3.96 with an overall GPA of 3.93. Anyone else applying? Are there any current students out there who have recommendations? I was wondering if I should maybe take the TEAS again just to bump up my score just a little bit more. Opinions help!

Same! lol do you know how that works? Are we automatically considered for both or if we don't get in to the accelerated then thats it for us? I'm confused on that whole thing.

We will be considered for both. If we aren't in the top 32 (or so, can't remember exact number) for the accelerated applicants, we can be considered for regular automatically. So it just gives us more of an opportunity to get in which is nice. I'm not picky. I'd be happy with either one!

Hello everyone! I was a little bit on the fence about joining this conversation as I get a little intimidated by the high teas scores 😅 but I am literally so anxious for June to pass! This seems to the most active thread so I was just curious to see HOW EXCITED AND OR NERVOUS everyone is! I am fresh out of high school and just got my AA through an early college program and let's just say my teas is not up there and my pre reqs GPA could be better. However, I did get an interview @ 930! Anyone else? I'm sooo nervous because I have yet to gain any experience but nursing has been the only thing I've wanted to do! :nailbiting:

Well, interview is worth 50% of your admission at this point so just rock it! Don't let other scores intimidate you. I'm pretty nervous and super excited but I'm trying to relax about the interview as much as I can

Hi, I can clarify this for you. You are automatically considered for both. So depending on your ranking after interviews you will be offered APL, RPL, waitlist or denied. Hope this helps!

Hi! I was a non unf student before starting at UNF nursing school this summer and also wasn't able to go to the workshop. My suggestion for preparation is Google questions often asked in nursing school interviews, think of appropriate answers for most all the questions then practice practice practice on family and friends. Most important of all, believe in yourself! Best of luck 😊
