University of Minnesota - DNP 2020

Greetings,

I have applied to the University of Minnesota's DNP Fall 2020 program. Looking to reach out and network with fellow applicants. Sometimes having other's to talk to that are in the same situation can help ease some of the stress and anxiety.

It’s possible they have different dates for the different tracks and haven’t sent out invites for the other specialties yet. They are doing the psych track interviews next week.

I got an interview invite as well!

Once you submitted a time - did you get any sort of confirmation email or anything? I’m just got kicked back to the calendar, so I’m nervous mine didn’t go through. I sent an email asking for confirmation, but haven’t gotten a response yet.

I applied for FNP and received an interview email last night. This morning I received a confirmation with instructions and directions.

I got an FNP interview invite on Tuesday.

FAQ says they get about 40 applicants. No idea how many interviews are granted.

I applied for Adult/Geri and received an email that our tracts interviews are being delayed until January 2020. Anyone in the Adult/Geri applicant pool receive the same email?

I just interviewed yesterday for psych. It was pretty informal - a few questions about career goals and past experience. Then some more “get to know you” type stuff (what book are you reading?, etc). I would t stress too much about it!

@SiouxGoingGopher how did your interview go for the FNP program? did you do it in person or virtual? from the DNP page it says they interview 1/3 to 1/2 of applicants!
