Yay! Congrats. Are you graduating this year with your RN and starting grad school right away? Or have you been an RN for some time?

The KIRA really wasn't bad. The practice questions they offer are helpful for getting you used to the program. Just have your answer ready for why Umich, why your program, and be yourself! ?

I had some questions about time management, nursing research, and teamwork also.

Good luck!

A surgical unit. Recently I have found a local midwife who agreed to let me shadow her and attend births. Thats about the only women health experience I have.

That's so cool! Shadowing is such great experience and I wish I would have had done more of that.

I work on a GYN surgical floor but the only delivery experience I have is from clinical for school, and we kinda got to work with the midwives a bit and ask them questions. I am hoping to get into L&D as an RN, but I am a little bit worried about my limited experience through this application process.

I try not to worry about that anymore because if experience would make or break our application it would be a requirement ? . stay positive!
