I got my acceptance letter a few days ago. Now I have to figure out how to come up with the money to pay for this program. I am excited though. I'm a new grad nurse so the thought of taking on an NP program is intimidating. But the good thing is that my study skills are still pretty fresh.
Hello all, congrats on your acceptance! Im currently at UM completing my BSN next semester and I plan on applying to the NP program next fall. Can you tell me about the admissions process in terms of the interview and if its okay, can you tell me about your stats? I heard it was really competitive but I would just like to get info from students recently accepted.
Hope to hear from you soon
Thanks
I thought the interview was very relaxed and informal. My interview was less than 10 mins and most of it was me talking. They asked a lot of open ended questions so I was able to talk about my interests and experience. I was only asked a couple of technical nursing questions and they were pretty basic.
