hello everyone! Just submitted my application 2 weeks ago just waiting on reference submissions. Has anyone heard how quickly they get back to you whether or not you get an interview or not??

From going into previous class forums it seems like we all suffer together on that wait ?

Any way to speed up the process? I got about 3 applications that are due on January 15, all submitted today but still waiting on verification

Did you guys pay to have your manual transcript entry completed?

I did it myself it's not hard and before they send it to the school they actually cross check it with your transcripts/ review it so I didn't get any issues. I'm sure had I put something wrong they would of told me and my application would of been delayed. I have pay for other programs I applied and it took forever like weeks and to wait for their final review takes long too so I personally would just do it myself. ?

@TRVL.RN Thanks, I have my transcripts in Nursingcas from applying to other schools. Hopefully they don't have to verify everything again.

Does anyone know how classes are being held currently? Are they online for a certain period of time? Do they offer clinical sites in different areas?

Hi all,

Out of curiosity, why did you choose to apply to UM? I am from out of state and am not 100% familiar with the local hospitals or how UM functions. I would love to hear why you guys choose to apply to this program specifically. Thanks.

Its local and doesn't require the GRE.

I'm a local and UM health programs have a reputation for being the very best in the area. They also have their own hospital and are partnered with their neighbor hospital jackson memorial which is one of the top hospitals in the country with a well known trauma center and children's hospital all in one. Sooooooo that being said we have in my opinion a good solid ground for clinicals and getting good experience. UM has a reputation for making transitioning smooth for their students in the health programs, very well organized programs and curriculum. I like the layout of their CRNA program too. Not to mention the campus is the most beautiful thing ever and with everything you need within walking distance. Also you can take the metro straight to the hospitals I mentioned If you're doin clinicals there because the metro runs parallel to the UM campus and it has a stop literally within those hospitals minimum walking from station to hospitals other then the sidewalk to get in the hospital LOL if they do clinicals at other local hospitals then for sure a car is a must. I would think we probably just do clinicals in UM hospital and Jackson memorial tho.
