Hello everyone, made this thread a bit early but would love to hear from everyone applying and keep connected ?
Hi everyone! Good luck to everyone who has been accepted so far! A little late to the forum here, but I was offered a spot on the waitlist as well. Anyone have experience with the waitlist at UM before? Is everyone going to accept their spot on the waitlist? And has anyone applied to other programs? I'm just so anxious, I really hope I'm offered an official acceptance ?

I also received that email. I haven’t heard of anyone being accepted off the waitlist just yet.
Hello everyone! So I posted this exact message below in the FIU thread since FIU and UM are my top two schools. Hopefully I get some guidance and recommendations. Good luck to everyone!
I've been following these threads lately as a SRNA hopeful one day?. I have 1 semester left of my ASN and then 3 more to finish off my BSN thereafter (in other words a baby nursing student!) I currently work per diem in an ICU/PCU floor ,hoping to get hired there once I pass my NCLEX. My current GPA is a 3.48 although I know I have more than enough time to raise my GPA with 5 semesters left. I am aware of the experience needed, as well as the CCRN certification, but is there any advice anyone can give me at this point in my journey? Did you guys take extra Chemistry courses to boost your applications? What type of ICU experience is considered the most competitive? Anyways, I don't want to make this longer than I already have, I'll be lucky to even get one reply back LOL? Hope all of you the very best of luck, rooting for all of you! ? As far as grades go will some B's in nursing school hinder my chances? So far my B's are in Med Surg, Psych, and Maternity. The rest so far have been A's. Thank you!
