Hi! I just submitted my application for the university of Miami for the Spring 2016 semester and was wondering if anyone has heard back yet. Previous years, they have admitted students into the program on a rolling basis. I'm eager to find out if i got in!

A separate thread was started, but can't find it. It only had a few comments about driving distance from other parts of Fla to Coral Gables. So it got me thinking that a closed FB page might be good because it seems to have been helpful for the current summer cohort and is a good way to streamline the info. I'll look into it.

I set up a closed fb group UM ABSN Spring 2016...I think you have to request membership from the administrator (me) and I'll read more about it.

FYI I was told by admissions that they just finished working on the traditional BSN applicants and will soon begin working on ABSN applicants. Hope this helps.

Hey guys I'm sorry I didn't get back to you guys sooner but for some reason i didn't receive an email notification that you guys posted... I just sent a request to join the group.

I'm STILL waiting for nursingcas to verify my transcripts. This wait is driving me crazy. nUrsingcas is by far the worst application system I've ever used !

Hi guys, I'm also applying for spring 2016. I haven't turned in my application yet because I'm in the process of getting my transcripts and reference. Do you guys have any new information on the program? have they accepted any students yet? do you think I'm applying to late ?

My application was submitted on NursingCAS and I've been waiting for my transcripts to be verified. (UM doesn't see your app till the transcripts are verified through NursingCas). I've heard this can take almost two weeks. It's been about a week and half for me. I haven't heard of any acceptances yet but I don't really know anyone else applying.

I don't think it's too late for you! I think anyone who submits before the deadline is fair game. Good luck!

I have everything done on there except the personal statement and reference. I'm waiting for them to recieve my transcripts

You can submit before the transcripts are received so I would do the personal statement & submit ASAP! :)

Oh wow i just submitted mines today so its going to take a while i guess. I also noticed on the UM website it says the deadline is nov 1 but on nursingcas it says the deadline is oct 1 so which one is right ? Do you guys know if pre cal can meet the requirment for the stats ?

I submitted my application on 8/2/15 and still have not been verified. I called nursingcas a few days ago to see whats going on and the woman was so rude and told me that it takes up to a month to get verified. I also received an email from UM stating my app was incomplete when i submitted everything on nursing cas!!
