I wanted to start this thread for all those who applied and are interested in applying for UM's Accelerated BSN next spring (Jan 2013)!!

Heyy!

I sent my application in a few months back because I just couldnt wait, but as I have been told by UM, they're not going to start looking at the Accelerated until all the enrollment for the fall has been completed. I was also missing one pre-req (Microbiology), but if you're worried just give your advisor a call and they'll check into the status of your application!

Hello I got accepted into UM for Spring 2013 accelerated program. Well, I have not received the oficial letter yet, just an email from the Dean Assistant of SONHS confirming my aceptance. I can't wait to have my letter because they told me it is coming this month ( I applied in February). Good luck to all and hope see you on January!!

WOW! Congratulations, but I confused when I called one of the advisors told me that open enrollment does not start until August 1, 2012. When I went to the “apply now” it is not active. Does anyone have any advice? I want to apply now…

Did your application roll over? I am ready to apply now but the ad visor says I need to wait. Did you apply online?

I applied at the end of February for the accelerated program because of in those days the deadline was open still for Summer 2012, but UM got confused my application by traditional program even sending me an acceptance letter. Afterwards, I went to school to talk with an advisor explaining my case and one day after I got an email from Dean assistant confirming my acceptance in the accelerated program for January 2013. I really appreciate the mess that let me know I was accepted LOL

If u dnt mind me asking, what was your GPA? did u have any prerequisites outstanding?

My overall GPA was 3.74 and and sciences was around 3.70, I done my prerequisites during last december 2011.

I just completed my application and called admissions. She told me that they would start looking at application in September... I am applying for January 2013.
