Hello,

The application cycle for University of Miami ABSN for Summer 2017 just opened today. Wondering if anyone is applying! I will be sending my application in a few weeks. Deadline is March 1st. But its rolling admission so the earlier you apply the earlier you hear back! Good luck to everyone. Also if someone is currently a student in the ABSN program, please share your thoughts about the program to help the rest of us who are applying :)

Congratulations!!

For anyone previously in or having finished the program: Can I please get a break down of classes per semester? How long is this program? Are the classes set up in a manageable manner? I am asking because I want to know if I will be able to manage. Please advise, because I am trying to weigh my options in terms of affordability and being able to manage being in a full time program. Also, if applying for FAFSA, will that cover the whole tuition in loans?

Does anyone know what it means if my application still says incomplete? I submitted it in January :(

The recruiter said that orientation and itinerary information will be sent out toward the end of March to all admitted applicants. Orientation is supposed to be the week before the 1st day of classes.

I know that with loans, it is based upon how many credits and student loan amounts you have obtained during your initial undergraduate degree to determine your remaining federal aid. Most of us end up applying for HRSA scholarships or a mixture of private/federal loans.

Specializes in Operating Room.

I got my cane link in December and admitted late Feb

Specializes in Operating Room.

You can see a detailed itinerary of the classes on line --- we will take pathophysiology and pharmacology in first set I know based on what I read.

Hey everyone congrats to those who have been accepted! I just received my acceptance yesterday and spoke to the assistant to the dean about my situation. The program starts the second week of May and I am in the process of finishing my anatomy course. The final is on the 22 of May! She told me to email her in writing my situation so she could present it to the dean. Hoping this all works out and I can take the final remotely!!!
