To create a special place for your cohort:

Hi, everyone! Current CRNA student at UMB. Just found this thread! 

I'm happy for everyone getting in, it is NOT an easy task. I will like to mention that the #1 thing you can do to help you in the program prior to starting is to utilize the CWO (course work only) program the school has. Normally, the CWO program lets you take 2 classes, but as an accepted student, you can take up to 4 in the Spring prior to Summer admissions. I recommend Methods of Research, Professional Writing, and Biostats if able. IF there is another base DNP class available (as most get full) just go ahead and do it too. This will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce your stress and workload during heavy semesters of the program. Those in my class who have not taken these have regretted it.

We also utilize a Mentor/Mentee program here! Soon, the admitted students should receive an email where you are assigned a Mentor (a student from the year ahead) who you can ask a million questions to about anything/everything!

Anyone know of any grants/scholarships I can apply for before starting? I want to take the CWO courses and was just wondering if there is anything out there to help pay for that.
