Hello Everyone,
I just graduated from an ADN program and passed the NCLEX-RN last week. Today I signed up for ULL's RN-BSN program and am interested on other people's opinions on the program. I believe I have all my pre-requisites completed--is the school reasonable about accepting coursework from other institutions? I would love to hear from people who have experience with this program. How did you like it? Any feedback would be welcome. Thank you!

I will be applying here too. Not much info or reviews but from what I see it looks pretty ok. Did you consider UTA? It seems like a good program too.
I haven't looked at UTA. Maybe I should, but I have been very pleased so far with the attention I've gotten from ULL. I have an enrollment counselor who has called me quite a few times to update me on my status, which has been very nice. I have his number and can call him any time I have a question. I am still waiting to see how my transcripts are evaluated, and how much credit they give me for previous course work, so hopefully that will go well. Is there anything specific that you like about UTA?
Not really. I just know a couple people enrolled that seem pleased. It is a very popular program on allnurses as well. But my pre reqs are more in line with ULL because my first BS was completed at a Louisiana University. I can always transfer if it doesn't work out of course. But I think I will give it a shot. Have you heard anything much yet from a current or past student? Can't find much.

I just pasted a link to a conversation above that might interest you. In this thread a student who just finished at ULL gives her take on the program. She seems to be pleased with it in general. Like you, my pre-reqs are more in line with ULL. I don't think I should have any pre-reqs to do before directly starting the Nursing courses, so I am waiting to have my transcripts evaluated to see what happens. Signing up for the program at ULL was also very easy. I didn't have to apply to the University first, which a lot of other schools make you do. It only took a few minutes and cost $25. I'll let you know once I hear more from ULL about my pre-reqs. I may just have a look at UTA, too...just to compare.

I started the program last year Oct and will be finished in 5 weeks. I enjoyed the program and I think it's a great choice. My hardest class was Health Assessment.
Hi Tammitrubble,
I will be taking Health Assessment next "semester." Can you tell me why you found it to be your most difficult class? Also, are you currently doing your capstone project? How is it?

Can any one who is currently enrolled in this program or has recently graduated give us an update? I am considering applying to this program very soon and would like to hear about personal experiences!
I thought the assessments were a little too advanced. I thought it was more for a NP or a PA. I also found the quizzes to be brutal. However, please do not let that be a deterrent. I am glad I chose ULL - program is very organized and the classes go by quickly. I submitted my CAPSTONE yesterday - I will be finished this Sunday:). CAPSTONE was the easiest class to me - no quizzes, 2 discussions, 1 page powerpoint, a letter and a crossword puzzle. For my Capstone I had to come up with a policy or a change for my department or wherever and write about how I was going to make the change. You will be happy that you chose ULL.

Hi, I've been in U-La-La's RN-to-BSN online program since March of this year. I find their classes very easy. Every week, you are expected to read two chapters from your textbook and then you have a 10 to 15 question quiz online (usually open for 20 minutes). Also, you research a topic weekly and then post a 300 word discussion in an online forum. Two of my coworkers have recently enrolled in this program, and many of their previous college classes have been accepted for credit. I hope you are already enrolled and are nearly to your BSN by now!
