University of Hawaii at Manoa GEPN-DNP FALL 2024

Published

Hello,

Has anybody submitted their application yet? Just opening this forum since the application cycle has started.

Last admission cycle (2022), they received the decision on January 10, 2023. For 2021 cycle, somebody got an email as early as November 17, 2022. The wait time is too long (if we have to wait until January for this cycle). ? I probably will be getting results for my other applications early December from other schools and I'm just afraid they will ask me to pay deposit soon before I see the results for UH.

Submitted both my grad app and ncas last week of October. BA in Public Health 3.9 GPA and 2 B's on my prereqs. Can you guys share your stats?

Hi Everyone! I am so glad I found this forum ! The anticipation is killing me. I applied September 26th for the DNP-AGPCNP Track.  I did reach out to admissions earlier this month because original emails I had said they would notify candidates in late December early January. They responded back and said that it would be late January before they would be notifying everyone.

Good Luck to you all !!

I have a BA and Masters in Public Health. My GPA was 3.7 and I had all A's and one B in prereqs.

Aloha, I agree with you. UH is my #1 because I live here in Hawaii. But I did get an acceptance from a University in Indiana already. I am doing my best to hold out for UH. I was told they would notify everyone late January.

Does anyone know if the GEPN DNP program is more competitive than the other GEPN tracks?

Aloha, I was told during one of the information sessions that they are equally competitive. They get about 200-250 applications and will select 49.

This is honestly too late for me. I already got an acceptance too from another school, also paid the deposit. I honestly find UH admission process/candidate selection so slow and confusing. There are too many people reaching out to me--graduate division and someone from the nursing program itself--making everything complicated. One of them says one thing, the other says another stuff.

I definitely think being kept in the dark during the process is hard. Hopefully we will hear soon !

Happy New Year, everyone! In all God's timing. It is hard, I agree. What's meant to be, will be. Have a fun NYE and be safe.

Its Officially Jan 1st !! Hopefully we all hear something within the coming days. Happy New Year everyone ! Wishing you all the best.

Happy New Years!  I reached out to the GEPN coordinator to ask about the status of our applications.  He said that they are in the final stages of application evaluations and will be sending out notifications in 2-3 weeks.  Good luck everyone!

Thank you for the update, Jeinstene! Good luck to all of us! ?
