Aloha, I apologize that my response is so delayed but life has been super busy! My best advice would be to do a cost comparison but include housing. I applied to two other schools on the mainland ( Indiana and Oregon ). I applied to only places where I knew I would have support or family. I have to kids, so I need to ensure my kids would have support as well. My husband and I live in Hawaii which is why UH was my first choice. I also did my BA and MPH at UHM so I know the campus and faculty well. Go where your gut is telling you to go. If you come to Hawaii, you'll have your cohort to lean on ?

Aloha Everyone, it seems like to start a club you must be a platinum member on this app. I do not want to pay for a membership. May I suggest we find another solution for connecting? Unless someone on here has the platinum membership and can start a private breakout room for us. Mahalo, RickiLee

I am not sure how it works but we have until Jan. 19th to submit our intent to enroll. Some people likely have been accepted elsewhere first and will not fill out this form, leaving spots vacant. Additionally, some requirements need to be met by August 1st or our spot will be given to the next application.

@hoc where are you working now? I work at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Center as a Community Health Center Analyst. I served as the NP Residency Program Manager until recently and now in a new role as Community Health Center Analyst.
