I wanted to start this forum for all applying for the UF BSN-DNP for Fall 2023. I know applications just opened up last month but wanted to start early! I personally applied for the Fall 2021 cycle, sadly did not make it. The email I received stated there were too many applicants that cycle. So after a move to ER nursing from med surg and raising my babies just a little more; I have decided to give this another go!!
Congrats on FGCU!! My nursing journey has been a very long road, LNP-ASN-BSN- and now FNP, all with children in tow. Looking back on all these accomplishments, one thing remains the same, my perseverance. I have been extremely thankful for every bump in my road that has led me to where I am today because it made me the person I am today. Good luck to everyone pursuing better things for themselves. Keep flexing your brains and keep pushing on!

My journey has been similar: LPN, ASN, BSN, and soon to be AGACNP. I never in my life thought I'd make it this far, starting out as a lost teen mom 27 years ago. I remember coming home from the local community college with information about their nursing program telling my mom that I was going to be a nurse one day…& here I am ?
