University of Florida DNP Fall 2021

Hello there! I just wanted to start this thread to see if there were any people applying to the University of Florida for next fall for their nurse practitioner program? I am applying to the BSN to DNP specialty in Pediatric Acute Care. Anyone know how the current pandemic might affect the application process? Any current students that might want to share their experiences with application process, and the current state of the program? Thank you all in advanced, looking forward to hearing from you all and starting this journey.

Mailing emailed me (I had a question about my application) and indicated she was “waiting on final details but decisions will go out this week.” There would be no details to wait on if it were all just a big pile of rejections to send out, right? ? So stay tuned!

Haha I like your thinking. Here's to hoping "this week" is more beginning of the week and not the end of the week. But at least the shenanigans of waiting will be over this week haha

About an hour ago. I had a separate question r/t my application that she had not followed up on, so I just emailed her about it this morning again...and of course asked when we could expect decisions.

So I've been looking at the view count for my DNP essay submission on Youtube (the optional one) and its been 0 (last time I checked was yesterday, the 31st).

Just checked again and, yall, theres a view LOL so they're still looking at apps and I submitted mine early January.

Yeah I don’t think it will be until Friday that we hear something. No way it’s today in my opinion, but I hope I’m wrong!

Welp... not today either ? so sad LOL I really can’t believe we’re in the first week of June and still waiting to hear back
