Howdy all! Here's a thread for any of us who applied to or are interviewing at CU Denver this next week for their accelerated BSN program! Prior UCAN applicants and students are absolutely welcome to chime in!

Hey there! I saw your comment on the other UCAN post, but thought I'd respond here. Congrats on the interview, and thanks for the info on the interview format! Looking forward to meeting some other applicants, and hope Wednesday goes well for everyone!

Yes excited to see how it goes! Are you local to Denver or applying from afar?

Buena Vista. Little away but I’m so wanting to get into this program. You apply other places?

Buena Vista is such a beautiful location! I haven't applied to any other nursing programs yet. If this doesn't work out, I will apply to the CU Traditional program (although I really hope this does work out!). Best of luck to everyone tomorrow!!

Best of luck to everyone! Be yourself!

So, how did you guys feel yesterday? I thought the group interview was better than anticipated. Pretty laid back. I was impressed overall!

Congratulations to everyone interviewing!  I’m applying to UCAN in a few months and was hoping y’all might help with some helpful insight.  Im considering retaking one of my pre-reqs (along with my final pre-req.) I’m asking b/c adding the class into a very busy schedule will require some huge life adjustments and I can’t seem to decide! (I’m counting on an “A” for the last pre-req) and currently have two A’s, one B and one C.  It’s that last one (taken in the height of covid when class scheduling was a mess) that I’m having a hard time accepting. If the other grades are A’s and a B, what’s the opinion of that C grade?? If it’s as awful as I’m thinking, I’ll retake it, but if it’s “acceptable,” it sure would make my life a little easier not to retake it.  I’m agonizing and would appreciate any input.  Thanks in advance!!

Hello! I applied for the August 2023 start date. Does anyone know how many people get offered interviews in comparison to school acceptances? It seems quick that they do the interview March 15 and decide by beginning of April.

Did you ever figure out if your C was good enough?

I actually did retake the class and finishing with an A!
