University of Colorado-CU Denver (UCAN) 2023

Howdy all! Here's a thread for any of us who applied to or are interviewing at CU Denver this next week for their Accelerated BSN program! Prior UCAN applicants and students are absolutely welcome to chime in!

Does anyone know if getting an interview for UCAN is nearly accepted unless you bomb the interview process? I'm going to interview but wondering how many are invited to interview and denied after that.

Richard: I interviewed in a group of around 100. 40 or something were accepted? I made it into the final round of interviewing and was denied.

For background: I am a 10-year flight paramedic, military, 3.7 GPA.

They absolutely have a preference for some random stuff, and they like a mix of accepted individuals. I got into UCCS ABSN down in the Springs and am now about to finish my first semester there. (:

Do acceptance letters go out by mid august, or go out in mid august?? Is there a chance to find out late July or early august

Hello UCAN 2023!  I am applying for the 2024 cohort.  I was hoping to get insight into the interview process.  Also if you wouldn't mind sharing your stats?  

Also congrats to all who got accepted and good luck to those still in the application process.
