Starting a thread for all those who applied to the UCSF MSN program. Any news of when we will hear back? I applied to a specialty that has a deadline of Feb 1.

I also applied, specifically for the CNM program. How about you? 

I haven't heard back about any dates in which we will find anything out. Hoping soon-ish! Good luck to you!

Thank you for responding @Jleb886. This is so helpful to get some clarity! I don't want to take up too much more of your time, but did they give an estimated amount of time for the hiring freeze? My current institution just finished a hiring freeze that was 3 months (although they said essential backfill positions would still be hired).

I applied to the AGACNP program. Submitted everything before the 2/1 deadline, but I know they extended. I contacted the program to see if that would change anything. I was told it wouldnt and we will know by 4/1/23 at the latest if we were accepted. I personally havent heard anythning from them yet.

Thank you for the update. I wonder if they will have final decisions out by 4/1 or if they will reach out to us for interviews by 4/1... Either way, good to know!

This is what the email said verbatim: 

"Thank you for your question. The review process will not impact applicants that met the February 1, 2023, deadline. You will be notified of admission decisions by the Office of Student Affairs when the review process is completed. If you have not heard from the school by April 1, 2023, please email me.“

This was from the director ------------------. So if you don't hear back by 4/1 reach out! Sounds like we should all be notified by then!
