Hey Everyone!! Starting to get anxious about the application/decision process.

For those who got in the last cohort- any recommendations on what we can do while we wait for the decisions?

Thanks!

Hi everyone! I am currently a MECN1; we are in the middle of our second quarter. I remember being in your shoes a year ago, and wow, time has passed! Let me just start off by sharing my experience. I personally thought being on this forum SPIKED my anxiety. I was obsessed and constantly checking the forum to see if anyone had heard back, and I was always refreshing my emails. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss because I did not need to add that extra weight to myself. I would definitely try to distract your mind, find a hobby, keep busy, focus on your mental and physical health, and BE KIND TO YOURSELF. I also wanted to add that I was accepted into the program the second time I applied; the first time I was rejected. I remember that gut-wrenching feeling. I literally felt like my life was over. However, I decided to contact the admissions office and receive feedback to make myself a stronger candidate for the next round. If you don't get in the first time, DON'T WORRY. Use that time to receive constructive feedback, whether that be to improve your GPA or add volunteer or work experience (it really helps). Also, I NEVER thought I would write a post like this as a MECN. It feels surreal to remember I was once looking at these forums for comfort. I wish everyone the best of luck, and may the odds be in your favor 🙂.

Hi, could I be added as well? Thanks 🙂

Hi, can I also receive an invite? Thank you!

Anyone any updates?
