  1. Not yet. Interviews have not taken place; only invitations. Most interviews take place in May. People hear back about offers in June.
  2. Yes, my classmate heard back a week ago.
  3. Here is a summary of the units that have sent out interview invites: - Liver/Transplant ICU - Neuro/Trauma ICU - CT ICU - Burn ICU - PICU - NICU - Oncology - Peds - Ambulatory Surgery Center (Westwood) - Intermediate Care - Adult Psych - Adolescent Psych - RR MPU - Medical Procedures Unit - OR - SM Main OR It was for both. About 1 or 2 weeks ago.
  4. Has anyone heard from the Adult ICU in West Valley? And has anyone else heard back from Burn ICU (I know someone here posted about it)? People in my cohort have heard back.
  5. You're so right, I updated the list.
  6. Yeah, of course! I didn't include the ones mentioned in this forum. I listed the ones I know people for sure received interview invites. The ones mentioned from this forum (besides the ones I previously listed) include: - RR MPU - Medical Procedures Unit - OR - SM Main OR - Burn ICU - NICU
  7. From what I've heard (from classmates and friends), people have heard back from: - Liver/Transplant ICU - Neuro/Trauma ICU - CT ICU - PICU - Oncology - Peds - Ambulatory - Intermediate Care
  8. Hello, I highly suggest contacting or emailing the admissions office and asking them how you can improve your application. They usually provide feedback and point you in the right direction. If you haven't done so already, I highly encourage volunteer hours! It's not a requirement, but it's a huge plus. If there are any classes you need to retake to improve your GPA for the prerequisites, definitely do that as well. I hope this helps!
  9. Hello everyone, Congratulations to those who got accepted into the program ? As a current MECN who attended the graduate day last year, I don't think it's totally relevant. They mostly talk about loans and financial aid for those pursuing a PhD. A lot of it was not applicable to us. The only nice thing was the tour but other than that, the information provided wasn't really useful. Do as you wish with that information. Best of luck!
  10. Hi, current MECN here. I remember checking the portal first before receiving an email. I checked it on Feb. 28 and sure enough, my admission letter was there. I received the email the following day on March 1st. I'm not sure if that will also happen this year but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
  11. Hi everyone! I am currently a MECN1; we are in the middle of our second quarter. I remember being in your shoes a year ago, and wow, time has passed! Let me just start off by sharing my experience. I personally thought being on this forum SPIKED my anxiety. I was obsessed and constantly checking the forum to see if anyone had heard back, and I was always refreshing my emails. Sometimes, ignorance is bliss because I did not need to add that extra weight to myself. I would definitely try to distract your mind, find a hobby, keep busy, focus on your mental and physical health, and BE KIND TO YOURSELF. I also wanted to add that I was accepted into the program the second time I applied; the first time I was rejected. I remember that gut-wrenching feeling. I literally felt like my life was over. However, I decided to contact the admissions office and receive feedback to make myself a stronger candidate for the next round. If you don't get in the first time, DON'T WORRY. Use that time to receive constructive feedback, whether that be to improve your GPA or add volunteer or work experience (it really helps). Also, I NEVER thought I would write a post like this as a MECN. It feels surreal to remember I was once looking at these forums for comfort. I wish everyone the best of luck, and may the odds be in your favor ?.
  12. On my end it doesn't show there is a deposit needed. I believe someone else said the same.
  13. Hello, thank you so much! Our deadline is April 15. I hope you receive a favorable outcome, best of luck ??
