Hi! Just starting this thread for University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) MECN 2025. Good luck!

Because I see that it says: You can provide your SSN on MyUCLA by selecting "Social Security/Individual Taxpayer ID" to import FASFA data but I'm having trouble finding this on MyUCLA? I just see required financial aid actions and can't click on anything.
I just checked today and it has some documents you have to fill out now!

Re: the waiting list. Last year it was at least in the 30's. But there could be more. Youre likely to be admitted if youre #15 or less. Last year they admitted close to 30 ppl off the waitlist. If youre high 20's maaaaybe even 30 I would still sign up to take nursing50 in the Summer, bc theres a chance that you may be admitted. Last year was the first time that many waitlisted applicants came off the waitlist and were admitted. This info was shared at a prehealth carreer workshop by the program rep.

hi! I contacted SON earlier and they said it was 35 applicants on the waitlist this time! nervous, but hopeful 🙂
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted into the program!
To those who were denied admission this cycle, I see you. I know how painful and discouraging those letters can be. I actually applied to this program (and several others) a few cycles ago and was denied by every single one. It was crushing, but I want to share this with you as proof that rejection doesn't mean the end of the road. If this is truly your path, don't give up. Use this as fuel to commit even more strongly, refine your goals, and trust that you have the strength and expertise to get there. You are so meant to be here. I reapplied to all the schools that previously rejected me, plus a few others, and this time, I was accepted into every single program. It can happen for you too. Keep going, and know I'm cheering you on!
For those admitted, are you considering completing UC Berkeley Extension's Epidemiology (PB HLTH X186) instead of taking Nursing 50 at UCLA? I'm wondering if this is a common route, as I think June might be a bit too soon for me to move. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'm taking Epidemiology 100A online through UCLA, which also counts for the requirement.

Thank you! I understand they offer more scholarships to apply to once you commit. Do you happen to know the amount ranges for those & did you feel like they provided a lot of scholarships for students?
