Haven't seen a thread so starting one for Fall 2025! 🙂

I wonder how many students apply and get accepted, considering all nursing programs are incredibly competitive. Their cycle was weird last year, but I assume it was only one cycle this year since we all applied before November 30th.

Congrats to everyone who got an interview and the DEIB fellowship essay invitation. Has anyone completed their interview? I'm planning to complete mine officially this Friday, but I was wondering how I can prepare efficiently. I assume it's a similar format to the CASPER exam, pacing-wise, but I'm worried nonetheless.

Hi everyone, 

I received the interview invite and will be doing so this Sunday, I also do not know how to prepare but I am thinking of questions we can be asked. It also helps put stories together that you can use for various of questions and use your experience as solid foundation to your answers. Best of luck to everyone!

Yes, but I'm scared to press the blue "Go to Interview" button. I did, however, immediately access the fellowship essay link, and it seems pretty easy to write, considering the word count is only 250 words. Has anyone completed the interview, willing to provide some insight?

Hi hi. I'm super anxious about recording the interview haha. I pushed the link and did the practice video and hated it so I haven't gone back to the site. From reading past years threads it looks like it's better to do it ASAP though so I'm forcing myself to do it tomorrow. The timer makes me more nervous because you can see it on the screen as you answer and it goes faster than you think. The questions I'm assuming they're going to ask are:

Why do you want to be a nurse?

Why this program?

How are you going to dedicate yourself to such a time intense program?

And the fourth is the one I really don't know which is scaring me haha. Do people think these are good questions to prep for?

Best of luck with the interview! you got this! I also agree with you, I think the 4th question will be "tell me a time..." question. Such as a challenge, set back, or had to deal with angry patients, working in teams, etc...

Hi all,

Congratulations to everyone who got selected for an interview this week. I was selected for an interview, but I am a bit worried, as I clicked the interview link to accept my invitation and it sent me straight to the introduction video. However, I am not ready to begin the interview. Did anybody else face any issues regarding the interview? Best of luck everyone!

EDIT: The support team let me know that I can go back to the interview later this weekend to complete it.

I also clicked the link and watched the introduction. Someone in this thread had previously mentioned there's a practice interview, I was worried to press next as it said head to interview so I just exited the page to commence another time once I'm ready. 

Also, by any chance does anyone know how many questions we'll be given and the allotted time we have to answer them?

spark hire contacted me back with this response, if it helps anybody feel at ease.

"Your interview status is currently "Accepted". This status indicates that you have received the interview invite and have proceeded through the link; this status is generally perceived as the candidate, yourself, indicating that they will complete the interview prior to the given deadline."

in terms of time per question, I believe interviewees in past threads said that they had about 2 minutes to think and 1.5 minutes to answer.

I just did my interview. They have generic questions, so really not much to prepare for. I would say just do it. You can practice by just saying things on camera and watching your self  to make sure you are comfortable in front of the camera. Besides that, just dress nice for the camera and give you it your best shot asap. No point in stressing about it anymore than you have to. Good luck everybody.

I just received an interview invite like 10 minutes ago, so it's definitely giving rolling basis for interviews. Good luck to anyone who is still waiting and to those who have gotten invites!
