Update- did the interview. Questions were fine but I was panicky and I think I looked around too much and said um a lot. Cryin but I'm glad it's over. Fingers crossed for us!

Are the questions recorded, or are they written down for you to answer after reading?

The questions are on the screen and the timer starts for 2 mins so I would write down the question and a few bullet points for me to talk about and then you can either wait for the 2 mins to end or press ready to answer.

For the new interview notifications, were you guys given an option for the fellowship essay too? Just wondering since our deadline is Feb 3rd.

Hi everyone,

While doing practice videos, I realize they give you attempts to retry if you do not like the recording (allowed attempts). Does UCI allow you to retry if you do not like the recording? Or is it just once and what you say becomes submitted?

Can you finish the interview and then choose which question you want to record again and come back to it or do you have to redo it when you are on that question?

Hi Eileen, I just completed my interview. I feel that having sticky notes is a good idea when you get stuck, but don't rely completely on them!
