Hi, I didn't see a thread for UC Davis's Master's Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) for the Summer 2024 application cycle, so I wanted to start one to connect with other people who applied! I know people received invitations around this time last year to apply through the UC Davis Graduate Studies application. Has anyone heard back yet? Best of luck to everyone!

I was wondering if applicants received an invitation for an interview or know when they'll hear back on admissions?
I don't think they do interviews anymore if they ever had in the past. I believe once you advance to the second round, final decisions are made after that. I have a strong feeling about hearing back this week, but you can never be too sure.

It looks like based on everything I read, this is a full time program because it is accelerated in a sense. I'll require 8-5pm days and then studying. They move very fast paced. I wasn't able to find much more online.

How often are students in class during the program?
A. Students can expect to be on campus full-time for the duration of the program in preparation for licensure. Most courses are held Monday through Friday; however, some courses and clinical experiences are held on evenings and weekends.
Q: What are clinical experiences like?
A: Clinical placements take place every quarter, about 15 hours per week. Students complete clinical experiences in acute and ambulatory care, the home and community. Students also participate in simulation (including high- and mid-fidelity patient simulators, standardized patients, task trainers and computer simulations). Over six quarters, students complete 1,080 clinical practicum hours.
