Oh that's pretty good. I met with their faculty and they said they wouldn't be able to ensure accreditation and without accreditation you can't take the NCLEX. They're a good school so hopefully they get accredited. We need more nursing schools in Cali.

I hope they keep their promise. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard UOP opened up their program because I am local. Crossing my fingers

I was terrified of choosing this program, going through two years of school, and get stuck waiting for accreditation to take the NCLEX. I should have just applied though, it's always good to apply to more schools and have more options.

So they are in the process of getting accredited. This will be their third cohort. So I'm sure they are under the pressure to be accredited before the matriculation of the first cohort which I believe graduate in 2024. So we'll see ?.

Davis is my first choice as it is an 18 month program. Prior to Davis, my first choice was UCSF, but they have put a hold on that program for a few years. My second choice is USF, and third is SF state. I haven't heard back from any of them. I have to stay local as I have a young family.
Hello everyone just chiming in cause I am still anxiously awaiting the Davis admissions decision. I just got admitted to UCLA which is much cheaper than Davis. Not sure why as they are both UCs? Also not sure if it makes that big of a difference given you will have big loans either way and I am hoping to get them forgiven by working at a nonprofit. Sorry thats a big word dump but stressssed hoping to get an email soon

Congratulations Crandall!! Do you think maybe because it's a shorter program than the others? hmm...
