Congrats! You've got lots of experience:)
I don't know if they will call ? When I emailed the grad program in January, they stated "interviews" would be likely happening February or March. However, things can change?
northernnurse23 said:Hey! I am also considering TRU but obviously haven't heard back yet. UNBC was my first choice but I like the idea of starting in may. I can't figure out how to send a message but are you able to tell me about your experience with TRU so far? I know it's a new program so I'm wondering how things have been running. Thank you!!
Being in the first intake for TRU has surprisingly been quite smooth. I am really enjoying the program so far.
I applied for the full-time program, but switched to part time before I started. Part-time study still comes with a substantial amount of homework, so I am only working about 20 hours per week.
definitely needed to refresh myself on APA and writing papers.... so that was not as fun, but I am happy with the program.

Thanks for sharing your experience so far ?

It depends. I have a reasonably high GPA in the program thus far, and homework can vary. I would venture between 10-40 hours. Right now, I have 3 assignments coming due at the same time, so I'm spending 8-10 hours a day.

Thank you so much!! Can I ask why you ended up choosing TRU over the others?

Oops I commented on the wrong post. Can I ask why you chose TRU over the others?
Hello all,
I have nervously read your posts for weeks and decided to finally post since my nerves are getting the best of me. I applied to UVic two days before the deadline (I was undecided about NP, but finally gathered the courage to apply) and I am currently regretting not putting in more effort into my application. Has anyone heard anything at all from UVic?

Nothing yet. Still listed as "under review.”

@Rimlak thank you for this your back ground sounds super similar to mine. I am still holding out for UVIC. One of my references was a doctor I worked remote trauma medicine with. I am hopeful.
