Does that form have to be filled out before we apply or just before classes would start?

It looks like after you are accepted and before you start clinicals. I believe it is an Arkansas Board of Nursing mandate that you have a minimum of 2000 hours before pursuing an advanced nursing degree.

For anyone that has completed their application; did you get an email to log into GUS, the student portal website? In the email it said that there was possibly a to do list of stuff but when I logged in there was nothing to do.

Specializes in SRNA.

If anyone is planning on attending the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Information Session tomorrow, may you please update us with the tuition amount.

Specializes in PICU, NICU, Neuro ICU.

Is anyone planning on going to the information session on January 23?

Has anyone been to the information session that found it helpful/got to meet staff or anything? I want to go tomorrow but I live 3 hours away and work tonight so I’m debating it

How did you figure out our personal statement could only be 250 words?

What should be included in the professional statement?

Applicants are expected to submit a concise statement (no more than 250 words) addressing why you are pursuing a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree in the UAMS Nurse Anesthesia program, and what motivated you to seek Nurse Anesthesia as a specialty. Include future plans and contributions to promote the nurse anesthesia profession.

Specializes in Trauma ICU.

Application complete!! All transcripts sent!! God knows how this program will be with only 16 students. Anyone go to the Information session?
