University of Arizona CRNA

Published

Hey all. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has applied to the University of Arizona CRNA program? Also was wondering if anyone has heard on a timetable for interviews? Thanks in advance for any replies!!

Hi. Applied to U of A crna program this year. I received an email yesterday (1/15/16) that I am on the "interview alternate list."

I interviewed with U of A in late January and received notice last week that I've been accepted into their CRNA program starting June 2016.

hi gtidrick,

can you tell us how the interview was. Was is a panel interview? How long was the interview and the kind of questions they ask. Thanks

you can email me at [email protected]

I just applied to the program for June 2017 start. Anyone else?

I'm having a hard time locating detailed info about the program. I know it's a hybrid. Anyone know specifics?

Hybrid sounds great to me!

I still need more ICU experience but I talked to a girl who applied last year but didn't get in. She had a ton of research and committee experience and seemed very knowledgeable and well put together. She met with the director who said her application looked great and she wasn't sure how she missed it. She thought the only reason she didn't get in was due to only having 1 year of ICU experience.

In terms of the program itself, you do the first summer semester in Tucson, then everything else is either in Phoenix or online. You would have to go down to Tucson about once a semester for lab from the people I've talked to. Same goes for their DNP-FNP. Hope that helps!

Hello yall. Just got an invitation for interview at the University of AZ CRNA program. Just looking to see if anyone has had experience with their interview setup. Thanks!!

I didn't end up applying this year due to a number of reasons but would you mind posting your stats? GPA? Experience? Thanks!

Hello! I was extended an interview as well. Have you heard anything about the format of the interview?

How did they contact you for an interview? I applied as well, but have yet to hear anything. So of course, I am expecting the worst!!

Sure. 9 Years total as a nurse. 7 yrs in CVICU. ADN GPA of 3.2. and BSN GPA 3.85. CCRN. Critical Care Committee, House Sup....

I hope your interview went well. I am sooooooo anxious to hopefully hear something back from them soon. But still, I keep checking my email like every other 5 seconds, lol even though I know it's too soon. Anyways good luck, and post WHEN you get accepted
