I applied in November, and still haven't heard anything, but I wasn't really expecting to hear back until at least January.

I got my acceptance letter on 12/24! I applied at the end of November, so I was surprised to see how fast I got my acceptance letter.

I got my application letter on the 24 as well. Im so excited that at least one school has accepted me so far! Is anyone definitely commiting to the program at this point?

I sent my deposit in today, but if I get accepted to UCF, I will go there instead.

How many days do you get to accept an offer of admission? I am away from home for the holidays and my mail is on hold back home until I return Jan 2nd. So not sure if I got a response either way and if there is an acceptance I don't want to miss a deadline because of it.

I got the letter on Dec 24, and it said that the deposit had to be postmarked by Jan 5. Good luck!

Uh oh....I'm away too! I'm currently a college student, and all of my mail is going to my address at school, and I'm stuck at home until at least after new years :/

Well, I got home last night and apparently my local post office did not heed my "hold mail" request (gee, surprise surprise) ... so I had mail in there since 12/21. Nothing from Miami, so I suppose I did not miss a thing. I am going to follow the "no news is good news" mentality for the time being :D

i also applied into the program for may 2011. i just made a separate posting with my whole situation! i sent my common app in on dec 1st, transcripts on the 2nd. because i was missing a transcript directly from the school i got college credit for (even though it showed up on my stony brook transcripts), they did not consider my application as early decision. they said 1 month to cb and find out status, which i did, and my admissions person said i will find out in march???? anybody else apply around that time that has received a decision????

It's Jan 24 and I still have not heard anything from UM. I'm not really sweating it though, because I have decided not to attend if I am accepted. The timing of the admissions and the scholarship decisions are not in my favor and I can't place a deposit on a school in the hopes that I might get the scholarship. Not willing to take out that much in loan money to attend a BSN program either, considering I am looking to get a grad degree also. Hopefully things will work out with my other applications, which are all to lesser expensive schools. I will however post my decision here when I get it, let's see. Good luck to those that are going to UM and to those still waiting and hoping!

when I applied last year, I found out in March because the school I was taking pre-reqs at hadn't sent in a form. Don't sweat it too much. They won't send a decision until they have everything.

Hi Everyone!

I am not sure which board to post on! I sent my application in the end of November and heard by December 15th! I am starting in May 2011! Gators2010, I attended UF and graduated May 2010, I assume you did as well?

Lets all start a facebook group?

It may be easier to communicate!

I do not mind doing it, if everyone can send me full names so I can add you!
