So, as some of you may know, I'm still living at home with my parents. Not proud of this, but it's the situation.
Things over the last year have gotten a bit tense. A few months back, I was on the phone at home with a coworker, when my dad came upstairs and instigated an argument. He was very violent during the situation.
My coworker overheard everything on the phone, and went to the administrator. Anyway, so I've been doing some house hunting, which hasn't gone very well and they know I haven't had much luck.
I was recently offered an apartment at work (they typically keep them available for agency staff or staff in emergencies) that I could stay in until I find another place.
Any thoughts? Would this be a good offer to accept?

you as a buyer, are in a great position to a house seller...
1) YOU DO NOT have a house to sell,
2) nor an apartment lease to get out of.
3) You can close right away.
4) You are a nurse (bank mortgage companies are happy to lend to nurses as they are conscientious about repayment dates, can and are always working, The default % is negligible )
5) These situational facts will get you a good deal if you use them to your advantage.
