Union University - 2026 start

Published

Hey everyone! I haven't seen one of these made for this year yet, so I thought I'd start one! 🙂

It's more common now for applicants to accept offers from multiple schools, which means some ultimately give up their spot here. Having a larger waitlist ensures the program can maintain a full class and not run out of qualified candidates when they begin pulling from it

For current students, did they let you take classes early? If so, what classes and how did financial aid work? I was hoping to try and be grandfathered in to the gradPlus loans.

I emailed Amy asking this last Friday, so hopefully she will respond today on if we can or not.

How was the interview process? Was it a mix of EI and clinical related to your unit?

I know people don't really like to give away the interview process for integrity and fairness. I would say know your unit and the types of patients you care for. Be able to speak to that and yes there will be EI questions. They are very nice friendly and welcoming.  Just be confident take your time and breathe. Good luck

Hi for those that were accepted when was the last day to confirm your seat and make your deposit?

Yesterday

Congratulations to those of you who got accepted! What do you guys think helped your application stand out to them?

To those who were waitlisted, did you have to pay a deposit?

I think the deposit is only for people who have been officially accepted. Most schools do that to make sure that the students have the intention to attend that particular school. Some students get accepted elsewhere and give up their seat, and in that case you lose the deposit.

Yes if you get waitlisted there is a deposit, however, you get it back if you don't get a spot.
