  1. Are you getting interviews? Or getting only rejections and no interview invitations? What is your science GPA?
  2. Mine was also around 20 min. But definitely an even mix of EI and clinical for me!
  3. They likely already sent all interview invites. However, if some people turn down their invites, they may send out a few more.
  4. It's more common now for applicants to accept offers from multiple schools, which means some ultimately give up their spot here. Having a larger waitlist ensures the program can maintain a full class and not run out of qualified candidates when they begin pulling from it
  5. I'd imagine 15 now, 15 in the next cycle
  6. It's a little different each semester, but typically only 3 days a week. 1st semester was Tues,Wed,Thurs. 2nd semester Mon,Wed,Thurs. But those days are subject to change each year.
  7. There have been some staff changes, however, most faculty are still staying. As a current student, just wanted to say that the changes are positive and we are all very excited for what is to come!
  8. Every school is a little different, you'll just have to research them individually. They all will look at your science GPA, but different schools will calculate different classes into this. As far as cumulative - majority of schools will look at ALL previous credits. But there are some that will just look at last 60 credits or so.
  9. I say if you have everything you need, go ahead and start applying! If you don't get in this year, you can always get more ICU experience and try again next year. In the meantime, try to gain experiences such as precepting, running CRRT or any other equipment you can train onto. Retake any science classes that you have less than a B in as well.
  10. You don't need to be at a level 1 trauma and don't need cardiac experience. As long as you are consistently taking very high acuity patients on a weekly basis and can speak to that in your interview. It's also possible to overcome a lower GPA, but I definitely recommend retaking any science classes you have less than a B in. Message me if you're able to if you have any other questions!
  11. Yes, you have to be at Union in-person for all three years. No remote semesters. Passing grade is 80 for core anesthesia classes, 85 for all other classes.
  12. They typically accept about 15 students first round and 15 students second round. No clue how many people they interview though.
  13. Hi! Not the original commenter - but I'd also really appreciate some info if possible? trying to look ahead at different supplies, resources, etc I can get in preparation for starting school next year!
  14. Also received my call and acceptance email Friday! And yes, my interview was tailored towards my specialty.
  15. Not yet. I heard that they will notify us next week.
