Union University Fall 2016

Published

Is anyone applying for the second priority deadline for Fall 2016 at Union University? About how long is the wait process to know? Any tips and comments from current students!?

Congratulations!! I will be attending the Germantown campus as well. Yes, I am take Patho online at Samuel Merritt, the class actually starts May 2. I was hesistant about online but will attempt and do my best. I am taking Human growth an development as well locally to help lighten the load and save money. ever thought about Clep for human growth may be I should look into that and study.

Hi kb123463, how are you enjoying the pathophysiology course so far? I love online classes, though I find that they are actually a lot more work than face to face classes. I love that I can sit in my house in my Pj and dedicate 1 or 2 days to completing all the work for the week. I took microbiology, a&p 1 online and will be doing a&p 2 and pathophysiology online this summer. I wonder if I can tag on foundations of pharmacology?

I just passed my Human growth and development CLEP. I will prefer that any day above taking the class and the material for the exam is 50% or more what was covered in the Introductory CLEP, which I had taken last month.

I have been confirmed for the Jackson campus, so I won't be seeing you in Germantown in the fall.

I also got accepted into Midamerican Nazarene ABSN, which is a 12 month program. Now I'm thorn between the 2, just because of the earlier finish time.

Anybody have any advice for me?

Hello dakus771,I withdrew from the patho class after a few days I realize even thoough it would have been well worth it to not have as apart of my course load, I would rather take this course in a traditonal setting. I am taking my human growth and development course now so at least that will be one less course. Also , call and check with the registrar about your clep for Human growth, I was going to attempt the CLEP and was told this was not transferable but the DANTES exam is. So contact them to be sure of this. I am taking a course through the site called study.com and it is transferable. Either , way contact them about your CLEP for Human growth, I was surprised that it was not accepted, at least that is what I was told.

I would still would like to patho and pharmacology in the summer , but in a class room setting. so i am going to research some other schools in the area that offer it in the summer.

Hello everyone! Conditionally accepted (have to take the two religious classes starting the 31st of May to have prereqs done) to Hendersonville campus for the Fall '16 cohort. It's been well over a year since I have actively been on allnurses, but it's nice to see some others for whom Union is so far working out as their school of acceptance. Recently paid a visit to the Hendersonville building and I must say that the simulation facilities look fantastic. Not thrilled about the $571/hour cost, but looking forward to the Dec 16, 2017 graduation date.

Does anyone have any experience or know how the wait list works? I paid 600 dollars a couple months ago and haven't received much information since. I have to potentially take a chemistry class this summer for another school, which is a class that Union doesn't require:/

Hello everyone!

Congratulations to everyone that got accepted into the program. I'm applying to all campuses & I understand the deadline is on July 1st. Does anyone know how many students they accept in each campus?

dakus771: I wasgoing to apply to MNU also, which I heard was a great school, but I figured it may be too strenuous considering it's a 12 month program as opposed to UU's 15 month program. It's tempting though! I'm going to pray I get into one of UU's campuses. Good luck to you!

Approximately 35 students

Hi everyone, I was just accepted to the Germantown campus yesterday and also wait listed for Jackson. I will be moving from California.

Is anyone thinking of taking Pathophysiology somewhere else this summer? Just to make the 1st term course load a little lighter and save some money. I already have microbiology and statistics and will be taking CLEP for human growth and development.

Hi! I am considering applying too also from California. can anyone shed some light on how TN living is?

Anyone have info on how competitive the admissions process is?

Thank you!
