How many schools are y’all applying for?

I have three apps out right now, Union will make #4. I will apply to probably two others if I don't get into those 4. The University of Tulsa is getting pretty close to finalizing their program but applications wouldn't be accepted till Spring of 2020 for a Fall 2020 start. I do have an interview coming up though and I interviewed last year with Union so hopefully I'll get another this year and better prepare myself than I did last year.

Jackson is a really nice town. I drove around it quite a bit when I went there last year for my interview.

I have 4 total also. Union, Barry, FSU, and Augusta. Hopefully 1 will make my dream come true. This is first time applying anywhere so I dont Know what to expect.

Did anyone use a charge nurse as there supervisor recommendation?

Just submitted my application...let the wait begin. Good luck to everyone!!

Don't be nervous. The interview process at Union was very laid back and everyone was really nice. It was a mixed of clinical and behavioral with more behavioral/get to know you/see if you a good fit for the program type quesions.

I’ve already been told that my application has to be re submitted at the end of the year bc my chemistry grade will be finish in December

Nothing wrong with that, I've seen people get admitted from all three application periods.

I'm having trouble finding CRNAs to shadow to meet 40 hours. I have ~20 hrs now. So I'm having to hold off on submitting for now ? hopefully I can find some more CRNAs who don't mind a shadow! ?

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you contacted the OR in your hospital? The 40 hrs of shadowing is a new requirement this year.

I'll have to give that a try! I'm at a level one trauma center with a lot of CRNA hopefuls working in our ICUs though, so what I've heard is it's not easy to get a shadowing spot. But thanks for the advice, I'll go for it anyway ?
