Union University Accelerated BSN Students

Nurses General Nursing

Hello Everyone,

I am interviewing in August for Union University Jackson Campus Accelerated Nursing Program. I will like to know from current or past students their opinion about the program. How does tuition work for the total hours you take in a single semester? How are the professors? How many hours do you spend a week on lecture and clinical? Where are the safe places to live in Jackson?

Thanks!

Congrats, Willworkforscrubs!! I think I may be in your cohort. I haven't received a letter, but when I was talking with the admissions coordinator she told me I was accepted provided that I complete my pre-reqs successfully. I've got micro and patho to take this semester.

Does anyone know how much the whole program will cost? How are you getting the money? What kind of financial aid is there?

I am going to the Germantown campus. And YES! This is a lot of money...especially on such short notice! I will have to take out a loan just for the additional deposit! The only financial assistance available is a Stafford Loan and alternative loans. I hate to go into further debt, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do... RLC, let me know what happens!

The tuition alone is $440 per credit hour for a 60 hour program. This does not include books, stethoscopes, uniforms, lab or clinical fees.
