I’ve been accepted into the BSNA program on the Hendersonville campus. Does anyone have any experience with how tuition works for the 15 month school “year” and out of pocket costs look like? I was also curious about average days and hours and what that might look like. Any input on this program is appreciated. God Bless!

I am in cohort 15 at Hendersonville. We are finishing up our first term and will start term 2 April 1st. I am thankful for spring break. We took 4 classes this term with two of them being online. We attend class on Monday and Wednesday for patho and Thursday for foundations for pharm. Our second term, we will be on campus Monday-Friday. This is our skills, health assessment, and Pharm 1 class. It is going to be so busy but it'll make the time fly by. The cohorts before us tell us after term 2, we really only attend campus 1-2 days a week and the rest will be spent in clinical. Of course, that can change at any time.
I have not taken out any loans for school, yet, but we are considered full-time even though the semester is broken into two terms. I imagine the tuition/loan is similar to a traditional semester. They do have payment plan options if you want to go that route. You will get a packet before school starts that will break down the costs of each semester. You will be paying out-of-pocket for things that you will need to do before starting school. This includes a background check and setting up an account through CastleBranch to upload immunizations and CPR certification, etc. Mrs. Wright will send you all the information when it gets closer to time.
Union University is a great school and I have no doubt that we will be prepared to when we start working as RNs. Congrats on your acceptance and I look forward to seeing you in the fall. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Thanks for the input? that was immensely helpful. Good luck on your end too. I really appreciate the feedback and we will be seeing you soon! Feel free to add as much advice as you like, we can all use it. Again, thank you!!!!

This information was super helpful! Thanks for sharing! Do you know where most clinicals are held? Are you able to do clinicals closer to home or are they all held in Hendersonville? I live about an hour from Hendersonville. Planning to apply for next spring.

Don’t! Admission is worst I ever experienced, the interview had questions about Christ, and your answers could be interpreted either way . I was not accepted with Nursing GPA 4.0, not sure what yours is , but they are too competitive, get ready for unpleasant experience!

No. This person, I believe, applied for the CRNA or other Masters program.

Lol okay. I was very confused. Thanks for clarifying ?
I also want to say that Union is a Christ-centered school. We are being trained to be the hands and feet of Christ. We pray before classes/exams and have devotions periodically. They don’t trick you into thinking they’re anything but that. It’s all over their website so I’m not even sure why this person was surprised about the question.
We have clinical all over. Our first is Sumner Regional. You don’t get to choose your site.
Thank you... Do you know where any of the other clinical placements are (for other semesters/sessions)?
